OpenAI's ChatGPT, the AI-powered chatbot, now allows users to turn off their chat history in its latest update. This means users can select the conversations they want to share with OpenAI for model training.
OpenAI has introduced a new feature in ChatGPT users can now disable their chat history. This update gives users greater control over their data and allows them to decide which conversations they want to share with OpenAI for model training.
ChatGPT Chatbot is an AI chatbot developed by OpenAI that was launched in November 2022. In a statement released on Wednesday, OpenAI stated that users can now turn off chat history in ChatGPT’s settings. When chat history is disabled, conversations won’t be saved or used to improve the AI models.
The new feature is currently being rolled out to all users and can be accessed in ChatGPT’s settings. Users can change the settings at any time.
Additionally, OpenAI said that new conversations will be retained for 30 days and reviewed only if there is a need to monitor for abuse, before permanently deleting them.

OpenAI is also working on a ChatGPT Business subscription for professionals who require more control over their data. The company plans to make ChatGPT Business available in the near future. ChatGPT Business will follow OpenAI’s API data usage policies, ensuring that end users’ data isn’t used to train models by default.
Furthermore, OpenAI is adding an Export option to ChatGPT’s settings to make it easier for users to export their data and understand what information is being stored by ChatGPT. Users will receive a file with their conversations and relevant data via email. Also, you can checkout our Made in India ChatGPT Alternatives BharatGPT
